01

What is this?

Halal certification provides documented assurance that products, ingredients, production processes and supply chains comply with applicable Halal requirements and the relevant regulatory expectations. It covers what goes into the product, how it is made, and how it moves, not just the finished good on the shelf.

Halal compliance is increasingly required, or expected, for manufacturers and exporters seeking access to Saudi Arabia and other markets. For many food, ingredient, cosmetics and pharmaceutical producers it has moved from a commercial advantage to a condition of market entry and a recurring buyer requirement.

RACS facilitates Halal assessment and certification through recognised Halal certification programs, within its scope of authorisation. We review your documentation, assess the factory and verify the supply chain, then coordinate certification under the appropriate program, and we tell you exactly what's missing before anything is issued.

02

Who needs it

Food and beverage manufacturers producing for Saudi Arabia or Halal-required export markets.

Producers of ingredients, additives, flavourings and processing aids supplied into Halal supply chains.

Cosmetics, personal-care and pharmaceutical manufacturers where Halal status is requested by buyers or regulators.

Exporters and brand owners who need a recognised Halal certificate to satisfy importers and customs in target markets.

03

How it works

  1. 01

    Application & scope confirmation

We confirm the products, ingredients and sites in scope, the target markets, and the recognised Halal program that fits your case.

  2. 02

    Documentation review

We assess ingredient declarations, supplier certificates, formulations and processing records against the applicable Halal requirements.

  3. 03

    Factory assessment

An on-site assessment verifies production lines, segregation, cleaning and handling controls that keep the process Halal-compliant.

  4. 04

    Supply-chain verification

We trace critical ingredients back to their sources and verify that suppliers and logistics preserve Halal integrity end to end.

  5. 05

We complete the file with you

Where something is missing, we tell you exactly what we need, no guesswork. We don't certify if the file isn't right.

  6. 06

    Certification & surveillance

Once the assessment is satisfied, the Halal certificate is issued under the recognised program, with periodic surveillance to keep it valid.

Why RACS

We facilitate certification through recognised Halal programs, within a defined scope of authorisation, not an open-ended claim.

Assessors who read your supply chain as a whole: ingredients, factory and logistics, not just the final label.

A project manager on your side from the first email, bilingual Arabic / English.

We tell you exactly what's missing, and we don't certify if the file isn't right.

07

Frequently asked questions

No. Halal status depends on the whole chain, ingredients and their sources, the production process and the controls that keep Halal and non-Halal materials apart, and the logistics that move the product. That's why our assessment covers documentation, the factory and the supply chain, not just the recipe.
